Partnering and the Decent Homes Initiative

To meet government requirements, all social housing must comply with the decent homes standard by 2010.

TSG subscribes wholeheartedly to the principles of partnering, adopting the recommendations outlined in the 'Construction Industry Taskforce' (The Egan Report - 1988) and adapting them to partnering. The company has a proven track record of partnering agreements with local authorities and housing associations and is able to bring considerable expertise to project management.

TSG has developed a special relationship with local suppliers and sub-contractors and as a registered training provider, participates in the industry training scheme and the department of employment scheme SEETEC.

Most medium to large building contractors do not employ their own trades people but sub-contract and act only as administrators. TSG employ over 150 skilled trades people covering all aspects of housing refurbishment and over the last 20 years have completed many multi-faceted contracts.
